Yesterday I revisited the beautiful little town of Lewes in East Sussex. Seeing as I live so close, I really don’t come here much. 20 minutes on the A27 and you’re welcomed by quaint shops, ancient buildings and a whole lot of history. Emily, Megan and I had a day of no plans- just wondering and seeing where the cobbled roads took us.
We waltzed in and out of the shops, all full of unique brands. Selling soaps, notebooks and candles- we wanted it all! My favourite little shop is called ‘Flint’ and they sell my fave skincare brand, MOA!
After some browsing, we were in the mood for coffee. Flint Owl Bakery is the place to be in Lewes for coffee and a cake. Sipping on oat milk lattes and cakes we discussed Love Island and Instagram- all the usual conversations for millennial.
I went for the cappuccino cronut- SO GOOD.
I even bought some sourdough! Bread in hand, we headed on another little walk.
We spotted the castle and had a wander around the grounds, passing a lovely wedding on the way!
With our unintentional matching outfits, we headed home, hearts full and stomachs even fuller.
