I love a trip up to London. As I don’t go too often I try to fit in as much as I can in one trip, making a lengthy to do list. I have a list on my phone of places I want to visit and have a ‘collection’ on Instagram where I save other people’s snaps.
The top thing on my list was a hearty brunch to set me up for a day of snapping, press launches and cupcakes (more blog posts on my day out to come)

The interiors are what chose me to go to this place, not going to lie. If that makes me a shallow, superficial clichè then so be it. The mix of scandi, mid/century modern and farmhouse inspired interiors makes the perfect blend and a walking Pinterest board. The shutters, although a simple touch, made the biggest difference which I loved.
The outside was blooming with greenery and flowers, making it a visible restaurant from way up the road.
The drinks menu was really decent, from coffees to green juices and cocktails. As I was dining pretty early I skipped the Aperol spritz and went for a flat white instead. It was creamy, rich, slightly bitter and it hit the spot- not much else to say!
For the food, I had to pry my eyes away from the eggs royale as I go for that all the time! I went for the breakfast bruschetta which consisted of hearty sourdough, bacon, avocado, tomato, spinach and ‘breakfast mayo’. The bread was the perfect amount of chewy with amazing bacon and very fresh veggies. One thing I would say is that the avocado was a lil under ripe but I know the struggle.
Overall I really enjoyed the experience at this cafe, with great service, great interiors and dreamy toilets!! (they use Bramble products, which I love). It’s a really nice walk from Victoria and close to the Belgravia area as well. I recommend trying this place if you find yourself in London. I can’t wait to try more places, thanks for reading!
