June Roundup

So we’re officially half way through the year. We’ve had a major heatwave in Brighton and though it was wonderful, I wish we had a few more days of sun. You can never trust English weather to stay around. I’ve been trying and using some amazing products recently and some interior, fashion and TV bits too! Read on to find out more…

BEAUTY

MAGIC ORGANIC APOTHECARY HELLO SUNSHINE BODY OIL* £22.50

If you’ve read my blog, you’ll know that MOA is in my top 3 brands ever. They have 4 high-quality products that are the staple of my routine- if you’re a minimalist they’re literally the only products you’ll ever need. They recently sent me their ‘Hello Sunshine Body Oil’ which is a luxurious body treat perfect for an after shower treat in the Summer. The blend of essential oils is so uplifting and the formula is wonderful at moisturising the body. Well done MOA, you did it again.

BEAUTY KITCHEN ABYSSINIAN OIL NIGHT HALO POTENT SLEEP MASK* £19.99

Beauty Kitchen is a brand I’m fond of and I’ve already reviewed some of their stuff here. This is their overnight mask. It feels like a balm texture and goes on to the skin so nicely, leaving it coated with an amazing glow. You wake up with your skin still glowing, perfectly moisturised and ready for the day. I highly recommend if you get dry or dull skin.

THE BODY SHOP SPF 30 SUN CREAM FOR FACE  £15

As it’s getting warmer and I’m spending more time in the sun I decided I would look for a dedicated facial SPF that I can wear every day under my makeup. This one is lovely as it doesn’t leave a white film over the face. It moisturises perfectly and provides a great level of protection for the day.

MOOGOO OIL CLEANSER FOR DRY SKIN* £16.90

Oh, I do love a cleansing oil. I can’t recommend them enough! This one by MooGoo is one of the most efficient of removing makeup that I’ve tried and it leaves my skin very soft. It doesn’t hurt the eyes or irritate my skin and I’m really enjoying using it every night. MooGoo is such a wonderful brand and if you’re looking into trying some more natural stuff, look at their brand!

JOUER HIGHLIGHTING POWDER  £19

WOW okay so I did a post about my favourite highlighter ages ago and boy do I need to write a new one. This highlighter is the most intense, glossy, glowy and WET looking highlighter I’ve tried. You literally need the tiniest amount and you will blind everyone in sight. BUY this and you won’t regret it.

INTERIORS

You may have seen on Instagram that I changed my bedside table set up. I found an old vintage tea trolley on Gumtree for £4 and I’ve set it next to my bed with all my essentials. I keep a few books, THIS insane candle and fresh flowers on it.

TV/PODCASTS

Just like every other 20-something girl I can’t stop watching love island and big brother! I’m hooked. BB has always been a favourite of mine but this is the first year I’ve enjoyed love island. My favourites to win are Camilla and who ever treats her right ;).

I love podcasts, you can check out a few of my favourites here but I’ve found some new faves. If you’re into true crime and you don’t listen to my favourite murder then what are you doing?! I’m also really enjoying Lily and Anna’s podcast (my fave ever bloggers right there). Leave me some recommendations!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR READING <3
