Last week my Mum and I (who now has a blog! check it out here) headed up to the Capital for a lovely afternoon and evening, ending with a great event to celebrate Green People 20th birthday at the beautiful Ham Yard Hotel in Soho. We started off by getting the train from Brighton to Victoria then headed over to Covent Garden for some lunch and some shopping. Neals Yard is one of my favourite areas in London, it’s so unique and colourful.
We grabbed lunch at Shake Shack and if you’ve never been before- it was amazing! It’s a burger place that reminded me of In N Out. I had the Shakemeister burger which was beef patty, cheese, fried shallots and their special sauce. I also had this whipped custard concoction with brownie bits, insanely good.
After looking around the Covent Garden area we walked to Soho where we had a few drinks in Jewel Bar. It’s such a cool place with all different themed rooms. I reckon if they rebranded a bit (their menus etc were so naff) it would be a really popular place in London.
Then onto the event. I was kindly invited by Amy at Green People to come along and celebrate their 20th birthday and their new ranges. It was held on the roof terrace of the Ham Yard Hotel which I may be pushed to say it’s the nicest hotel I’ve ever seen! The decor was so unique and the terrace was simply stunning. They kitted it out with decorations and the products so well!
Green people are a brand I’m familiar with and I’ve tried a handful of their products. They are sold in Whole Foods, Infinity Foods, on Lovelula and their own website. They focus on products that are natural and ACTUALLY natural, not just labelled that way and full of petrol. They have ranges for skin, body, hair, kids, sun and men!
They showed us the new ranges which were damask rose and orange blossom both complete with a facial exfoliator, hand cream and face cream.
I tried the Orange Blossom Exfoliator, the Damask Rose Hand Cream and the Damask Rose Face Cream and they’re all so lovely, as always! The exfoliator perfectly gets rid of dead skin on the face without stripping with evil microbeads. The face and hand creams smell beautiful and nourish the skin perfectly.
It was such a nice afternoon celebrating the new launches and getting a lovely hand massage!
Thank you so much to Amy and the team at Green People for inviting us along and I cannot wait to try more products. I have my eye on the fake tanner! I hope you enjoyed this post
