My 3 Top Uses For Dr Bronners Soap

Dr Bronners is a brand I have been familiar with for ages and I have used the lavender soap in the past. I specifically remember how the tiny bottle lasted me so so long even though I used is regularly.  I luckily got sent a large size of the Peppermint Castille Soap* (£6.99) by the brand and I’ve put it to the test. On blogs, Pinterest and even on the bottle of the soap there are loads of ways on how you can use it but I’ve narrowed down my favourites.

1. BATH AND SHOWER So you can use this soap as a bubble bath, it creates lovely milky bubbles and infuses the bathroom with the scent of the pure essential oils. As it’s so natural, it doesn’t harm my sensitive skin and it makes me feel really refreshed. If you’re really sensitive you can go for the unscented version. It cleanses the skin efficiently and you can use it to shave as well! I find this perfect for a morning wash as the smell is so invigorating.

2. CLEANING YOUR MAKEUP BRUSHES Rather than having multiple products on the bathroom shelf you can use this for so many things, including washing your dirty makeup brushes. As you may know, your brushes need a deep clean every now and then ( they say once a week but really- who has the time?). Just simply pour a tiny bit into your hand and swirl the brush around and rinse with warm water. It leaves the bristles soft and nourished and you can smell the peppermint the first few times you use your clean brushes.

3. WASHING THE DISHES Well, I never thought I’d be writing about washing up on my blog but hey-ho. Recently in my uni room, I’ve been switching my cleaning products over to natural alternatives as when you’re in a small room it can get full of that chemical smell. This cleans up dishes really efficiently and like always, a little goes a long way. How about leaving the chemicals alone and trying a more natural route….

I have to admit, I’m hooked on this stuff now. I’ve used it as a shampoo, body wash, car wash, doggy wash and a DIY multi-purpose cleaner. They’ve all worked out so well and I’ll be saving a lot of money on all of those other products. Thanks so much to Dr Bronners for sending me this and also the amazing lip balm, I really like them both.  Have you tried this  soap? Let me know your favourite ways to use it….
