2 New On The Bathroom Shelf

I haven’t done a skincare post in a while- what’s wrong with me?! I’ve been really getting into more lifestyle posts but I’m back today with a classic product review.

I have been kindly sent a few things recently by some of my favourite brands so I thought I’d share my thoughts on them. I also have to say, these products are both very appealing to the eye and look great on the bathroom shelf. I know looks isn’t everything, but it helps right?!

The first thing I want to talk about it something I’ve actually had my eye on for a while. I’ve been following Kinvara Skincare on Instagram for ages and their Cleasing Oil* has always caught my eye as I love a good cleansing oil. This one contains watermelon and cedar wood oil and OMG this is the best smelling thing. It’s got a strong herb smell, like rosemary or lavender. It’s so so nice and I like picking it up every now and then just to smell it!

In terms of makeup removal, it destroys my makeup including my waterproof mascara and heavy brows. It may be the best cleaning oil I’ve ever used, I just wish it came in a bigger size! It leaves my skin really soft and healthy and I recommend to anyone. Even if you buy it just for the smell- you won’t regret it.

The next thing is, as you can agree, beautiful to look at. I’m so over boring supermarket body washes, I love this luxurious one and It makes me really happy to use. Balance me is a brand I’ve loved for a while now, their products are natural, organic and so lovely.

This Rose Otto Body Wash*is a lovely addition to my shower time, it smells exactly how you expect, like you’ve stuck your nose into a bunch of fresh roses. It cleanses my skin without stripping and leaving it dry, which is really important to me with my psoriasis.  This would make such a lovely gift for  someone you love, as it’s a lovely piece of luxury. Thank you to Clem from Balance me for sending this to me, I LOVE it.

I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing a few new bits I’ve been liking recently!

Nice post, I’m currently using makeup wipes to remove my makeup, but oils are probably better for breaking down waterproof mascara. Thanks for sharing.
