Welcome back to another monthly roundup on The Brightoner! This month I’ve tried out loads of new stuff and here are the highlights…
Sensodyne Range* This may seem like a boring thing to mention but it’s important. I suffer from sensitivity and some toothpastes actually make it worse. I’ve been using the entire Sensodyne Pronamel range and I’ve really noticed a difference and I actually love the taste of the mouthwash. I would recommend looking into this if you get sensitivity! (NOT CRUELTY-FREE)
AA Skincare Shower Gel* (£5.94)This has been one of my favourite brands for a while, I use the Lemongrass Deodorant* every day and their masks are great too! This shower gel was kindly sent to me by the brand and I have to admit I wasn’t expecting much, like it’s only a shower gel?! BUT in the bath, it’s literally the best products I’ve used. The bubbles actually last and it smells lovely. It doesn’t contain any nasty chemicals either so I know it’s good for my skin. (CRUELTY-FREE)
Bare Minerals Concealer (£22) Okay, I think everyone needs to go and buy this. Do your under eye bags a favour and BUY THIS. It doesn’t crease, it covers everything, it hydrates and it lasts throughout the day. There’s not much more to say other than I probably won’t ever buy another concealer. (CRUELTY-FREE BUT PARENT COMPANY IS NOT)
Jouer Liquid Lipstick (£15) I’ve heard loads about these from various other beauty bloggers (Beckie Nye inspired me!) and I finally got my hands on one in the shade ‘Melon’. It’s one of the most hydrating liquid lipsticks I’ve used and it doesn’t settle into the lines of the lips. (CRUELTY-FREE)
Pinterest I’ve always had Pinterest but this last month I’ve really got into it. I’m moving into my first ever flat in September so I’ve been using it to get loads of ideas. If you lie interior design, please check out my boards as I think you’ll like them! I also love it for DIY ideas, photo inspo and new hair styles. Follow me HERE.
What Olivia Did I love when I find a new blogger/YouTuber that I like. Oliva’s blog is so lovely and her youtube videos feel really refreshing and away from the generic ones we see all the time. I love how she knows her way around Brighton and I go to her blog for restaurant recommendations! Subscribe to her, you won’t regret it.
What have you been loving this month? I’d love to know! Make sure to follow me on Instagram @georgiawin for daily updates! Until next time….
