Okay this is scary now. This month has maybe been the quickest month in my whole 20 years. This is my favourite time of the year and it’s going wayyy to quickly! I’m back again with a monthly roundup of all the beauty and lifestyle bits I’ve been loving.
Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer (£7.99) I used to use this concealer all the time as it was a cult favourite on YouTube. I like it as the coverage is excellent and it doesn’t cake up. I use this under my eyes and on blemishes. The sponge applicator is really unique but it applies just the right amount of product and I’m really enjoying it. I shall be buying it again and if you haven’t tried it, give it a go!
MAC Honey Love (£15.50)I bought MAC honey love a while back now but I’ve neglected it as it is quite pale. BUT, recently I’ve been using it to create a bit of a lip ombre look. I’ve been pairing it with slightly darker lipsticks and just dabbing this in the middle. The product I’ve been pairing it with the most is the Sephora Matte Lipstick in 06.
Palmer’s Anti Ageing Smoothing Lotion (£4.39)Now I’m not using this to get rid of wrinkles or anything, the reason I bought this is #1, Sali Hughes recommended it and I TRUST that woman and #2 Because it has AHA/BHA’s in it, which exfoliate the skin. With the skin condition I have, my skin grows 4 times as fast as normal so I get a lot of dry skin build up. This lotion has helped control the build up and also nourish my skin at the same time. For the price, I’m loving’ it!
Heather’s One of my favourite musicals is Heather’s! It’s so good and the songs are beautiful. There’s a bootleg of it on YouTube if anyone wants to watch (I’m not going to link as it’s probs illegal lol). My favourite songs are Seventeen, Beautiful and of course Dead Girl Walking. The girl who plays Veronica is insane at singing and it’s such a good role.GOALS.
Halloween OF COURSE Halloween is going to be a favourite. My flat mates and I bought all of our decorations in like mid September (keen much?) But just getting excited about dressing up, carving pumpkins, making cupcakes and decorating our kitchen has been so exciting!
Ballet Okay, so I never ever thought I’d be writing this. 1 month ago, I HATED dance. Couldn’t dance to save my life, would make me so scared. But, as part of my course I’ve been doing dance for 90 mins a week and I’m enjoying it so much! Maybe I’m just living out my childhood dream of being a dancer? It’s such a good feeling to see your body improving and noticing your flexibility changing.. I’m going to keep this up!
So, It’s 2 months till Christmas.. ROLL ON THE GIFT GUIDES! If you have any ideas or requests for Christmas blog posts, please comment below or email me 🙂
