Melvita is one of those brands that always pops up when I’m researching amazing skincare products. They specialise in natural, organic and fair trade skin and body care. It’s a brand I feel not many people have heard of as it’s not readily available in Boots and Super drug but it’s such a lovely brand and I feel like I wanted to share some favourites with you…
Melvita Rosehip Oil *Rosehip oil is a really nourishing, regenerating and hydrating oil that helps stretch marks and can really help with acne scars and dehydration. I love using it at night as the last step in my routine. This can also be used on ya bodyyyy. I’m really loving this and also like how it’s only that one pure ingredient. You can mix this with something like almond or avocado oil to make your own special blend.
OILY SKINNED BOYS AND GIRLS: you CAN use oil on your skin. People with oily skin tend to use only mattifying products and avoid anything rich at all costs. Your skin is over producing oil as it’s not getting enough moisture. Try a face oil 3 times a week and see how it goes…
Melvita Night Cream *(£26) This is the best night cream I’ve ever used- even though I mainly use it in the day. I use this layered up with the oil, it almost like locks it in. It’s GREAT under makeup as a I love a really glowy hydrated base. Someone who doesn’t crave as much moisture would love this for the night time
Melvita Rose Beauty Mist * (£10) I love a good mist for the face. This one comes in an aerosol can, like the Caudalie one (reviewed here) and it disperses a fine even mist over the skin. I use this after cleansing, to start of the hydration process. I’ve also been using this to set my makeup and it gives that ‘I’ve just been sitting on the beach for 20 mins’ kinda glow.
I’m really enjoying these products and highly recommend if you want to try some organic natural skincare. Have any of you tried it? Leave me a comment with your number 1 skincare item.
