Food in Brighton: Dinner

After my breakfast post I’ve wanted to do a dinner version. I pretty only go to one place, if you follow me on snap chat you’ll know where, but I do have other favourites. I love going out to eat and trying the many many places in Brighton. I’ll try to include a place from each type of food, so here we go!

The Connaught, Hove Street People who know me may know why I’m biased to this place but I do honestly LOVE the food here. I’ve tried nearly everything on the menu but I do have a few favourites. This place is great for a family get together, a date, a quick meal and a special day. The burgers may be the best I’ve tried and the roasts are insaaanneeee! I think the chefs are really creative and the specials are always great. Try the mexican night on a Thursday!

Lemon sole stuffed with garlic wild mushrooms with fennel salad

Chicken and wild mushroom pasta with truffle oil. Green beans wrapped in bacon on the side.

Burger with blue cheese and bacon

Cote, Church Street Cote is one of my favourite chains and it’s a great option for a last minute dinner or a pre theatre meal. They do a 2 course meal option for under a tenner and the quality is great. I also love browns too! They do the best fish pie I’ve had and the lamb chops are so lovely. It’s also got stunning interior.

Pork belly and mash ( my favourite meal ever!)

Mussels (starter size!)

Giggling Squid, Hove This is great for Thai and Asian inspired food. They go a good selection of Thai tapas during the day but I went for the regular a la carte menu. They do a really nice Picpoul (french, dry wine). The portion size of the prawn crackers is amazing. I like the king prawn pad thai its soooooo nice and really filling.

There are LOADS more places I like to go to but these are my favourites recently. I also LOVE Jamies Italian, Los Amigos, Kooks, Modelo Lounge, Pompokos and so many more. I’d love to hear your reccomendations as I love trying new places. Please comment below! For more food shots follow my instragram: Georgiawin.
