Empties #2

It sounds weird but I get a strange satisfaction when I finish a product. It makes me excited to look for the new one I’m going to try and it means I can give a really honest good review of it. Recently I’ve finished a few things that I loved using, here’s my thoughts…

The first thing I want to talk about is the Body Shop Chamomile Cleansing Butter (£13). This is solid based cleanser that turns into a lovely oil when massaged on the skin. I use this as a first cleanse to remove make-up and remove with a warm flannel. It is a very effective cleanse and leaves the skin very soft and clean. Will I repurchase? Not right now as there are loads of other amazing cleansers on the market I want to try. But I definitely recommend it.

This product made me sad when I squeezed the last little drop, but it has lasted me so long. I got the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream (£9) in LA as it’s an amazing brand in Sephora and this is one of their cult products. This cream is so so good for the face and the body, I think I’m going to invest in the BIG one. I used it mainly as a night cream but make-up goes on so nicely over the top. Will I repurchase? Definitely! My skin loves it so much.

I get through A LOT of body lotions as I use them on my entire body 1-3 times a day (I get really dry uncomfortable skin) and I’ve tried a lot on the market. I recently tried the Aveeno Skin Relief Cream (£3.79) as it’s aimed at sensitive skin that needs intense relive. I think if you don’t struggle with a skin condition of any time, this would be lovely and makes your skin very soft, however for me I need something a lot more intense. Will I repurchase? For summer months when my skin isn’t in such need for moisture this will be great, but for now I need to stick to something much more intense.

Now onto hair, which I rarely talk about on here. I know what I like and I tend to stick to it. I recently finished the Lee Stafford Hair Growth Leave In Treatment. You spray it onto wet hair and it leaves it feeling nourished and soft. Also, one reason to get this? THE SMELL. It legit smells like the Angel perfume. Will I Repurchase? If its on offer I will buy as I love the matching hair mask so so much.

Last but not least is the L’Oreal true match lumi concealer. I mentioned this in this blog post.  Its a really nice light reflecting highlight pen which you can use under the eyes or on top of the cheekbones to bring light to the face and make you look more awake. The formula is really blend-able and stays on for ages. Will I repurchase? Probably, but I’m loving  my Nars concealer so much right now.

Hope you enjoyed reading this, now I can finally  throw these empty bottles in the bin and start using more products!
