Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog! Today’s post isn’t about beauty, its about podcasts! If you don’t know what a podcast is, it’s kind of like a radio show that you can stream on your phone. There’s a podcast app which I use to subscribe to my favourites.
I love listening to podcasts in the car, whilst at the gym and when I’m getting ready. Obviously, I love music but sometimes it’s nice to listen to people talking and learn something from them. The kind of podcasts are more interview style ones, about celebrity culture and lifestyle. Here’s some of my favourites:
The Lady Gang. This has to be my top podcast ever. It comes out every Tuesday and I get genuinely excited every week for this. It’s hosted by Keltie Knight (TV host), Jac Vanek (clothes designer) and Becca Tobin (actress/fashion blogger). Becca is one of my favourite celebrities ever and it’s her who I found out about this podcast from. They get a guest on most weeks and discuss different topics like what really goes on in Hollywood, what the celebrity life is like and fashion. My personal favourite episodes were with Lea Michele (My idol) and I loved the one with Emily Morse. I highly recommend listening to these girls for some light hearted fun and to laugh at their hilarious stories.
The Skinny Confidential Him and Her. Hosted by blogger/YouTuber Lauryn Evarts and her boyfriend, Michael Bosstick. They answer questions on starting a blog, setting up a business, how to make money and how to maintain a healthy relationship. I love how passionate they are about their little empire. I LOVE the skinny confidential (beauty/health/lifestyle blog) and her writing style is great. Great to listen to if you’re interested in social media and that industry.
Infinite positivities with Jenna Ushkowitz. Another ex glee podcaster (I’m in heaven here) who takes topics from her book and applies them to interviews with influencers. This podcast is lovely to listen to get a boost of happiness, it’s very inspiring. I love her positive outlook life and I definitely come away from listening to this feeling happier and more positive. She definitely needs to bring Lea on her podcast too….
I would really recommend listening to some podcasts if you’re new to it all! It makes a lovely change to the radio or music. Let me know in the comments if there are any I’m missing!
